What you want matters.

The stories we tell ourselves are powerful reminders of how we view who we are. Some of these stories belong to us; some belong to others. Regardless, they shape how we see ourselves. This is about choice, empowerment, self-discovery, and the permission to rediscover what has been lost. This is Self-Recovery.

Old stories are the ones that don’t serve us anymore.

Old stories make us settle, shrink, sacrifice, and second-guess.

As relational beings, women are more likely to allow the voices of others to drown out our own. But what we want matters.

Finding out what we want means first finding out who we are. This process begins by recognizing our own voice. I call it self-recovery: discovering what’s been lost. New stories are the manifestation of growth and clarity that come from this discovery.

In coaching, together, we will discern what is true and important for you and co-create a plan to bring it to life. As your coach, I will provide the tools and a safe, supportive, encouraging place to explore. I will be your ally, advocate, and, if you need it, your accountability.

You're not alone: I know something about old stories, too. It’s easy to want to do more. Be more. Have more. At its best it can look like passion, even big success. At its worst, it can be self-destructive.

One of my favorite writers Anne Lamott says, “Peace of mind is an inside job.”

I now trust my intuition and am grounded in the healing power of horses. It’s difficult to articulate, as important things often are, but through their soulful eyes, I see myself differently. From the mutual safety and trust we create together, their straightforward communication, and unconditional acceptance, changed me. I wrote a new story.

And my story is still evolving. It’s a creative process that unfolds in collaboration with my own coach, a strong circle of support, and the omni-present guidance of a whole herd of horses.

Yours will keep evolving, too.
